The OpenWRT Router's WAN interface has the IP 192.168.1.254 and accesses the Internet through the default gateway 192.168.1.1. The WAN IP address can either be set statically or via DHCP. The Proteced Network 192.168.2.0/24 behind the OpenWRT Router is used for clients that should access the Internet through IPredator.
IIRC iPredator's infrastructure is all within a single datacenter. They could be down due to an outage at the datacenter or a large scale DDOS hitting that single location. I believe the website is not hosted on a CDN, so it too would go down in either of those scenarios. tl;dr I'd bet they'll be back soon.
